Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactActually you didnt fail, you conveyed an idea of movement, but not the one you imagine, that one in your head will come out one day with lots of pratice. So dont give up, you made a great job with the first beast its very creative.
If you work your line art with some previous studies , of poses you can end up with many points of view, ideas, for the same theme. This front view looks like a tapestry, is very beautiful. In a front view ( they run towards us) you convey a different idea, or a sky view, very epic. Each one, a different meaning. Running, fleeing, charging etc). The thing is, you can only paint when you have the drawing that you want after several studies, after that you cant change it, or look for a different draw and you did a great job with the sky and the trees, i really love your colours and textures, it has so much work.
I m glad you tried your best. Remember,
- what is the point view, idea, or feeling i want to convey in a picture?
- more lines, search for the movement , tumbnail search for composition, dont grab a flat pose with one line only
- Great work with textures congratulations
